Poetry entered Dean's life in a more significant way in the early 2010's. Starting off as part of bohemian underground collection The 4 Poets, he soon found the format restrictive and had his Beatles moment as he left to go solo. He never looked back. During 2022 he will be touring his emotional rollercoaster of a show that is Come Work In Our Factories, bringing the past to life through the personal stories of people.
